That was one of the two scenes cemented my endearing attachment to Suzumiya. I make that exact move when confronted by the hairless monkeys that missed the monolith briefing and still throw poo at the waterhole.
(the other being the closeup of Suzumiya fearlessly smiling at Kyon while gripping his tie.)
