Manga 'Kemono Michi' is getting an anime adaptation. Coming 2019.

Plot Summary

Quote:

Pro-wrestler Shibata Genzo who's maniac pet animals suddenly was summoned to a different world. Genzo was asked by the princess to get rid of the evil beasts called monsters roaming in this world. Outraged that he was asked to kill monsters, he german suplexed the princess. Unable back to get back to earth, he decided to live a slow peaceful life in this world. This is a story about an eccentric Japanese man who was a former pro wrestler and manages a "Monster Pet" shop.

Knowing his writing style, the appeal will be in watching various idiots, weirdos and straight people bouncing off each other for maximum comedy.

Whenever i imagine "wrestler" in japan, all i can think of is bulky, overweight sumo wrestler. Good thing the main dude isn't like that at all.

That was dumb and fun. The MC's obsession with animals is a bit disturbing, especially considering what he does to them. I'm more interested in the girls shown in the OP, and they'll interact with him. I expect them to be pretty crazy, if Konosuba is any indication.

Although the beginning had impact, the whole one-minded obsession towards animals-joke really started dragging on too long by the end of the episode. Hmm, I guess you can say, it was like watching KonoSuba's Darkness. Except the entire episode from start to finish revolved around one joke, so it is even worse. Hopefully there will be more joke variations in the future. Or it is gonna be pretty boring outside of killing princesses by smashing their head into the hard floor.
