The manga 'Dragon, Ie wo Kau.' (Dragon's House-Hunting) is getting an anime adaptation.

Plot

When a dragon fails to live up to the fearsome standards set for him, his family kicks him out. He embarks on a quest to find a new home, but soon finds that life on the road is no place for a cowardly beast of legend. In a fantasy world full of elves, dwarves, and other mythical creatures, where everyone wants a piece of him—literally!—the frustrations of house-hunting reach a whole new level.

Honestly, I think it might take me some time to get used to Letty (the Dragon) and his voice.

This seems like a very isekaish show with slimes, the Dragon, world setting, etc. Kinda feel bad for him since his own family kicked him out. To be fair, this show pretty much sells exactly what it wants and that's a fantasy story. Letty's personality is a bit ...idk, childish in some ways. Might have to get used to that too but the overall anime seems pretty lighthearted so far.

Well, it's not bad. Although it's not really great either. Definitely a show playing pretty loose with any sort of logic within its own universe.

The MC will definitely be the testing point. Definitely a pretty sad character on a few levels. At least the real estate guy is solid enough. At least he's got enough flash to just walk up and nuke those people into oblivion.

Just to point this out: the show is pure gag/comedy. Don't expect much serious story telling.

I'd have expected more laughs than I got. It wasn't horrible or anything, but not super funny either.

I think the stats sort of kill the real comedy value. Having a powerful but cowardly dragon is funny, having a weak but aggressive dragon is funny but having a weak and cowardly dragon is just boring especially one with such a weak personality.

I already watched the trailer for this a while back and thought that I'd never watch this given the dragon's voice. I was technically wrong, but for the wrong reasons... The narrator's voice is the reason this is literally unwatchable. Might be potentially the worst narrating voice I've ever heard in anime.

I wasn't expecting anything serious and went in for the comedy, it was not good until the hero party arrived.

I'll give it 3 chapters but I don't have much hope for this.

I've found it wryly amusing at times and have stuck around so far.

I think that Dearia is just supposed to be that strong. He is technically the Demon Lord even if he got the job in the most Japanese way possible, a bingo pull.

And in this episode Letty learns about the woe's of getting a new landlord. It's funny how this show is able to present such real life experiences in such fantastical ways. I've definitely known some people who've had to deal with a long time landlord passing away and having to deal with their kids taking over, and wanting to change everything.

Pip is certainly one of the cutest characters this season.
