Spoiler for Episode 1:

After a long week, I finally got to watch this show. The opening theme was un-exciting (due to pretty much no animation), but the ending theme was good. It's good that it looks similar to the manga, too. They even kept the profiles of the characters in the show.
This time was "Super Negative" and "Super Positive".

On the other hand, the fanservice censoring might have damaged my eyes a bit..........................

Despite being a SHAFT whore... I wasn't really that much of a fan. The style just seemed to try to be a substitute for... well... everything, and a lot of the BGM was pretty irritating.

I have no idea what was up with the OP/ED either. Seemed like the ED was the OP and vice-versa. *shrug*

Damn it, I really really don't like censorship I'll be watching the first episode soon, but I'm not looking forward for this as much as I used before.

I loved episode 1. Really, nobody makes more artistic-looking animation than Shinbou and Shaft. What a feast for the eyes and ears. We have a marriage of PaniPoni Dash (blackboard amusements) with Hidamari Sketch (slice of life beauty) and Negima (all Shinbou shows), but with a lovely dark humor all its own.

And excellent voice acting -- Kamiya Hiroshi (Takemoto in H&C), Nonaka Ai (Iriya in Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu), and a cast of thousands: Yajima Akiko (Crayon Shin-chan), Sanada Asami (Di Gi Charat), Inoue Marina (Miina in Getsumen To Heiki Miina), Matsuki Miyu (Yoshinoya-sensei in Hidamari), Sawashiro Miyuki (Shinku in Rozen Maiden), Shintani Ryouko (Sae in Hidamari), Ueda Yuuji (Morita in H&C -- not really. see later post by tritoch), Kobayashi Yu (Setsuna in Negima), Gotou Yuuko (Mikuru in Haruhi).

The only problem could be one that I do find with Shinbou: the texture is great, but my interest flags after a few episodes in a way it hasn't with, for instance, Lucky Star, another very episodic show. Perhaps there will be more continuing story here, we'll see (I haven't read the manga).

The censorship really doesn't seem like it's "censoring" in the usual sense. Rather, I think it's a layer of the humor which is presented.
