Comedy Suggestions (Licensed Anime)

I'd prefer suggestions of licensed ones. I'm looking for just comedy, but I don't mind if it's a mixture of genres. And if it's comedy/romance I don't want a series (Like "Kare Kano") that has too much romance that it starts feeling like a soap opera.

I recommend Saber Marionette J and the OVA (and maybe J to X). It's about a female robot (?) named Lime and her 2 other friends (Cherry and Bloodberry) and the human "master", Otaru.

I highly recommend Nadesico. It's about this extremely powerful spaceship and it's random(i.e., a cook as a pilot, and a secretary as a helmswoman), and a bit crazy, crew. It's just so random, and one of the most hilarious things you'll ever see.

Azumanga Daioh - super funny even with repeated viewing, suitable for all ages.

Ranma 1/2. Manga version is better but the Anime isn't that bad.

Excel Saga is the funniest anime I've seen, I recommend it. The dub is awful imo but the Japanese voices are great.

Is Fruits Basket supposed to be funny? I guess I have almost no sense of humor when I watch anime. I rarely find the comedy in them.

However, GTO is funny. I recommend that one.

I recommend Abenobashi Mahou Shotengai aka Magical Shopping District Abenobashi. It's a lot like FLCL in style, but funnier.

Azumanga Daioh was one of the funniest animes i've seen, then there's Ranma 1/2 and Tenchi Muyoh!.

If you want a funny unlicensed anime go for "Jungle wa Itsuma Hale nochi Guu"(I think that's how you spell it).

Azumanga Daioh!

Extremely funny, no pointless fan service or whiny hormone charged teenage boys, just good fun

Azumanga Daioh is especially good.
Every character is a good-natured person.
There is no villain in this anime.
