They're as much as a couple as Ginji/Mitoban of Getbackers, Athrun/Kira or those Prince of Tennis boy-boy couplings. Which means NO. They're very very very close great and important friends, but that's that. Fate's internal monologues in the StrikerS soundstage clearly states her feelings towards Nanoha as one of an important friend (( no other ways to interpret TOMODACHI, mind you )), and Nanoha's well...Nanoha.

There's TONs of Nanoha/Fate fanservice (( them playing mama to an amnesiac little girl, sleeping together in the same quarters/bed, having 3 hours of 'together' moment before sleep that involves tons of work as well ))...you name it. But as far as being a COUPLE go...they're not there. Whether or not they'll stay just friends, or get there...that's up to the scriptwriter/director.

You can pretty much interpret them to be a couple (( in one's mind and imaginations )) since chances are they'll never outright say stuff like they're perfectly straight or whatever within the story context and chances are we'll never see any one of the 2 getting it on with any guy within the span of the series, but the hard-bottom line is..they are not an official couple. Official as in hard cold truth.

I've been wondering, just under what condition does Hayate goes into Super Saiyan mode......sorry, I mean when her hair gets bleached? The only time I've seen her in her bleached hair was in Nanoha A's and briefly in the manga. She doesn't even enter "bleached hair" mode in episode 12 of StrikerS when blasting those gadget drones. Does she require some form of mana transfer in order for that to happen? (OK the last question was a joke. )

So...it never has been really clear to me so, what exactly is 'Drive Ignition'? I remember that one time Nanoha said 'Drive Ignition' and Raising Heart loaded a cartridge but Caro's Kerykeion says drive ignition shortly before she summons Friedrich's huge body (well actually to stop Erio's and her fall) and Boost devices can't laod cartidges...can they?

I took Drive Ignition as a keyword for cartridge mode loading. I remember the first time Nanoha and Fate use such keyword is ep 4 of A's after set up of new device with cartidge mode. Good question on boost device using cartridge can anyone remember anything support or reject their cartridge usage.

IMHO, Drive Ignition is just another term for a device boosting up into its more powerful spells or form, like when RH turns into Excellion Mode.

According to the StS EP5 story synopsys on official site, Kerykeion did not start functioning until at the very time it said "Drive Ignition", whereas other Forwards' devices DI-ed from start.
From this, and it's declearation at A's EP4, I assume "Drive Ignition" is an audible keyword a device would make to let the master know it started functioning as a device.

Another interpretion is that so far, only (Midchildan) sentinent devices (I.Ds, and Kerykeion) are seen using this term.
Would it be ridiculous to think it's a kind of... "warcry" to cheer up the master as they enter fight?

Please remember that Numbers 1-10 are the only ones named STRICTLY after Italian numbers... and that Duo is Latin, not Italian. Due is the Italian. 11 and 12 have different names to keep them unique in that respect.

So my take on it would be 'Inherent' since there is a proper 'fu' syllable that can be used in the case of 'Influent'.
