Aniverse is down from DDoS just like MIRCX, most likely by the same person.

Rizon and EFnet are the top to choices, put simply, EFnet is big, stable, and has a history, but not nickserv/chanserv etc. Topic length is maxed at about 110 characters I believe, and nicks are a max of 9 characters. It's been this way for years, most likely won't change. Though the nick might have a small increase in length soon, according to an IRC-op on EFnet.

Rizon is small, but will be adding servers, the owner is encouraging anime groups to join it, it has nickserv/chanserv etc, and has a channel, #anime-help on irc.rizon.net that has been set up to help people moving to that network.

Anime-Blitz is moving to Rizon... unless mIRC-X comes back up

We're also going to have a small backup chan on EFNet, but I doubt much will happen there. I'll just idle there since I'm on EFNet 24/7 anyway :P

Nyo Coalition, previously located at #nyo @ mircx.com, is planning on moving to ETG. The move hasn't been finalized, and as ETG's been under some attacks tonight, we might re-consider that decision as we wait for the registration to be progressed. If anything should occur, you will find us on rizon.net like all other groups. Thanks.

#anime-classic is currently camping out on aniverse and ETG, and we still plan on starting regular releases on 5 March.

EDIT: Well, since aniverse has blown up, guess we're on ETG now...
