I doubt he has. If you were the Japanese Foreign Ministry, would you let him have a passport?

But then again South Park does its best to piss of as many people as possible and that still does very well over there
a better example of the problem SZS faces is a recent car commercial about an assembly-line robot that dropped a bolt while at work, got laid off, ended up homeless, and then eventually commited suicide by jumping off a bridge. but it was all a nightmare by a sleeping assembly-line robot THAT commercial triggered a lot of outrage by families of suicide victims who are obviously very sympathetic.

that said, print film and video fall under protected speech and are pretty much bullet-proof to puritans and victims. it's all about money -- if some distro house thinks there is enough interest in a particular title to justify the investment, they will license it. and if they have to choose between two titles, they will choose the one expected to return more money. (sound familiar? "This money-grubbing world has left me in despair!")

On that thought, this series will get licensed before Mahoraba ~Heartful Days~ !

Excuse me while I go weep. Dream crusher!!!! j/k

I wouldn't be *terribly* surprised if Zetsubou Sensei got licensed. Unlike Mahoraba.

I hope it doesn't get licensed at least until they release the 12 chapters. I doubt it will get licensed here so it's rather a pain.

Just finished episode 4.

Abiru is a good character for Yuko Gotou's voice. I like her response to Meru's rant about her

Meru's abusive email scene is one of my favorite scenes of this series so far. ("Meru Meru")

This show is nuts.

I love it.

I just discovered it, so I've only seen through episode 2. (way too many shows being released to even watch the first episode of them all)

Whoo! Episode 4 is definitely my second favorite episode! ^^

After being bored by episode 3, I really loved this! We got to see Kiri and the abusive email girl~ XD I really loved the email part.

Hm..anyone know where that videogame is parodying..it somewhat seems like Final Fantasy..I dunno. -falls over-

Sure, being positive means looking on the bright side of life. But she doesn't even acknowledge any of those tragedies in her life ever happened. It is likely Kafuka had so much tragedy in her life that she couldn't take it anymore, as such she held on to sanity by denying the existence of negative things...

...which means, of course, Kafuka is a bomb waiting to go off. If there ever was to be a moment of negativity that penetrate her mental barrier, she would snap like a twig and go postal.

Such a shame that this series won't show anything like this. Its not like we're watching a drama series.

Postal could happen especially after that scene at the end of ep.4 imo.

-----

All this worrying about it not being licensed. ADV licensed Nerima Daikon Brothers which went places that this one doesn't and just labeled it TV MA(SL). That show was worse than the new OP in terms of sexual images and implications.

This will prob be TV MA anyway when the censors are removed imo.

I believe it was one, I'm taking it is before 7 because, characters were already 3d in battle. Probably the ones for SNES

It is not a case of not realising, but not wanting to realise
