That's why you BUY software. Because it's right. They put hard work into making a product. So you should pay them for it.

(In most cases...when the game flat out sucks, I don't have a problem getting it for free, though. Paying for it is a crime in some places.)

That's not quite it. It'd be like the guy across the street taking YOUR hot dogs from you and then giving them away.
