The one song that I really love is that Piano song always playing in the background during heart-breaking/sad scenes.

You probably know which one I'm talking about,it's in almost every episode.
(Like episode 7,when Setsuna and Makoto walk away from Kotonoha)

Does anyone know if you can get that song anywhere?

anata ga inai tops my list of favorite songs from school days, it just sums up how kotonoha is feeling, definitely fitting for the 8th episode

"Let me love you -remix ver-" by Momoi Haruko. It is in the ED+ album.

my fav =) (also ending of ep 11)

but the build up of the song sounds like a typical eurovision song contest song and the refrain could easily be a greek song too but I generally think that (modern) japanese and greek songs are very alike (except for the language of course ) .. dont know why

well.. what I said w, waltz very good song especially the intro

waltz is my favorite song for the album by far
i just love the classical theme the song has (makes me feel like doing some ballroom dancing ) - The high buildups to the main chorus is awesome and even the cool down periods between such interval continues to hold me heart tight - some real feeling being shown through here ^__^
second favorite is Kioku no Umi (and who can forget what happened during the playing of this song in the series...yep kotonoha frantically trying to meet makoto on the roof only to see him humping sekai...heart breaks!)

School Days overall has impressed me incredibly with it's songs. The way they fit to the mood is almost beyond perfect. Even the OP, with it's deceptively happy tone only serves to contrast with the actual plot and ED's and make them even more powerful to the viewer. Only the final ep of Cowboy Bebop and Seto no Hanayome ep 9 came close.

I must say I enjoyed all the ending songs. They're great... even though I don't know what they're singing about.

I have never liked the full-size songs. Some bits i the middle and beginning don't sound that great. Where as the TV-sizes for any anime are compiled from the best parts of the song.

*Demands TV-sized ED songs
