The wait for the next episode is already starting to kill me, especially since I saw the preview and know what to expect. Argh!

Awesome episode. I loved the part where Onibaba told Akane to take care of Keiichi. Probably so Mion could marry him. Though I like KeiXRena, I have no objections to KeiXMion either.

I interpreted that line as "kill his sorry ass."

If there's something that I don't like about the second season - it is the waiting time for the next episode.

Suffice to say, that was another good episode. Once again, it is dialogue heavy, but at least two rules have been broken. The only thing that's left is the festival night...

Anyway, as much as I was already spoiled before, I didn't even dare watching the preview for the next episode.

The funny thing is even though I know the entire story the wait for seeing it animated is whats killing me... and also seeing what people's reactions will be when the mastermind(s) is/are reveled.

Yes, exactly.

I wish DEEN pulls it off the scene well - just as good, if not better, with how they did in Episode 5.

I have a good idea who the mastermind is, I just don't know the details.

And I want to keep it that way until the series ends.

Oh and yes, I've been avoiding that preview like a plague-infested Furry convention[/redundancy alert]

I cracked up when Rika said that Oyashiro-sama won't curse Satoko because he thinks she's cute

Great expositionary episode regarding the Sonozaki/Government politics, and a clear indication at the end that things are definitely ramping up. And I agree; the waiting is AWFUL!!! The first season I was able to watch all at once (three times in two weeks ) but THIS experience is just too much LOL

The good thing about Kai is that DEEN is taking their time with the plot. I predict that this shall be longer that Meakashi-hen.

And since I haven't played the game, the suspense kills, let alone waiting for each new episode every week.

Unless it ends next episode, it will be longer than Meakashi. The festival still hasn't started either.

No, i am pretty sure it is the opposite. She was impressed by Keichi and wants him to be safe. Since she doesn't have any real grudges against Satoko, she can now lets things soften without losing face. Very good episode IMHO.

A can't wait to see the next episode, it will be very rewarding for the authentic Jedis who resisted the desire to spoil themselves.

Spoiler for confused:
His out of town boss, too far away to be afraid of the Sonozaki, had told him to reject pressure from the village. It's more dam war fallout.

Meanwhile the thing I found noted was as close to confirmation as we can get that the Sonozaki, or more accurately the Yakuza family entangled with them killed Rina.

Tension and pressure building and burst of OMFGness should be a big aspect of this show and what I like about it in the first place.

I am probably one of the few who can enjoy/tolerate this awful waiting time despite the anxiety it brings.

I felt nothing watching the preview... I haven't even play the game so I don't really know what's going to come anyway. =_=

Yeah i went ahead and watched it. Those are some hardcore spoilers. I can understand now why they don't show these previews at the end of the episode.

I was under the impress that Onibaba wanted him to become Mion's future husband. Besides, Keiichi would have no trouble become co-leader of the Sonozaki house, especially with his Kool mode. XD

Anyway, are there any TIPS that go with this episode? There's only a few left for Minagoroshi-hen.
