This came out during the forum downtime, so I'm not sure if it has been discussed at all here.

An interesting chain of events led to us hastily releasing this clip last week:

A french site, Catsuka.com, obtains a copy of the clip, sourced from VHS. This is put up for all to download sometime in November, but very few English-speaking fans catch wind of it. This changed when a certain "chibiyuuto" discovers from a spanish acquantence that the video had been made available, and it is from there that we found the clip early Monday morning. With a quick translation from Dragosmore, I was able to work out a finished product in the evening (taking hours longer due to Real hating me as much as I hate it).

So... opinions? Was the clip worth the six year wait?

Well, I don't know what you're talking about, but if I was a fan, I'd be pretty pissed at you spoiling someone died...

It's pretty obvious if you watched the promo and/or read the manga. This did play in theatres as an ad for the manga. But I will put into spoiler tags.

Streetor: Since you noted the spoiler potential, maybe you should do the same.

I loved the clip! Suu was aneglic and the symbolism worked greatly. The song was sad but then the gibbresh made me go all like O_o haha. Maybe I'm a bit biased since I'm a CLAMP fan. Also, I'm sad that I heard Clover never really finished...

This was one of the Great Mysteries of anime. The legendary CLAMP clip that a lot of us have heard about, but nobody was able to see for such a long time (more than 6 years since it first screened).

It was great to see the video, all in all, but kinda sad too. One less impossible thing to seek out... 8)
