It seems obvious that the Foreign/Japanese breakdown will show a reversal.. from the very fact that orange managed to persuade 30+ friends to help... that's more than the margin of victory..

GREAT job, Rika. You have officially become the Saimoe of 2007! Nagi, you were awesome too! There is nothing to be ashamed of to be in second place. as you worked hard and achieved much. You've put in all your assets, it's just that Rika there has all of Hinamizawa and Okinomiya's money to back her up. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be able to buy many other things with mastercard, just not Rika

Nice job both factions in the campaigning aspect. We've all fulfilled the purpose of promoting our moe-est character's moe! Now, let me go back to sleep

Nagi put up a fight worthy of a final and i'm pretty happy it a real close match up and Rika is one of my favorite Higurashi girls

Gratz to Rika and her fans .That was a good match...

About the 2500 total votes, doesnt that mean that there were too much fake votes?

That troubles me too I mean, I thought in the final the 2k margin will be broken by both characters,....

yeah...i thought we'd get at least 1600 votes for each character
but hey, that means less grudge voting was done. it isn't so bad after all, but yeah...this year has got to be the final with least attention.

that's when I think, they should just ban foreign voting xD
I'm just kidding... probably.

But I'm not happy about the result at all^^
Nagi-sama T_T;;

and the total vote count does not seem worthy of a final at all.

Honestly, the characters people liked most got taken out early by strategic voting... I'm an example of someone who didn't much care after round 3, and judging by vote numbers in the top 8, it seems like many people were that way. Earlier matches with favorites were the real vote-drawers.

Anyway, I was hoping for a Nagi win but oh well! It's been a fun tournament.
