1st one covered up to Novel 9. the 2nd will probably do everything that's left, which we predict up to 17.

i'll be assuming now that there are a lot of major plots that has been omitted from the novel when they were made into anime... could some site instances of these omissions? and how they really affected the overall story

thanks in advance ^_^

I've already read the first two, and so far, they are about half-different. For example, Margery arrives at Misaki City 10 days after the defeat of Friagne, and the whole "Please get stronger thing" happens after Shana loses to Margery for the first time, so the order of the episodes is a bit different. Yes, it does go astray in the later episodes, and some key parts have been omitted entirely (such as Yuji using Blutsauger against Wilhelmina), but that is due to the time constraint and the budget of the producers of this anime (J.C. Staff, if I'm correct).

!! yuji used blutsauger? i though he only used that in the end, does that mean that it will be his default weapon?

oh btw, what's the difference between the novel and the manga / anime and manga?

with all these events happening im more determined in hunting the novels even if i have to go to the deepest recesses of the net!!

Crap, I should have spoilertagged that.

Anyway, as far as the manga goes, we don't have enough information. All we know is that they seem to follow the novel just a tad bit more closely. However, very little content is released.

from what i heard, it was licensed by viz? i think making eval power drop the translation.

so the thing would be the manga version follows the novel in a closer pace... i read the manga and i would like to say that there really is a difference... if the manga would get updated and would be kept faithful to the novels, then i might not look that far.

for the meantime, back to the dark alleys of the net i go searching for the novels

(sigh even torrents hosting them are dead... and links fall into dead end ~_~)

I haven't read the novels but I think the manga is very good in my opinion.

They're predicting it ending because it does seem like it's near the conclusion the most likely guess is that SNS will end in 1-2 more volumes, but we won't know for sure until November 10 when the next volume comes out.

I've only read up to 11 so no wonder I didn't understand why...

I really do have to sit down and read the rest before the 10th

Well you could think that they dropped it cause there are only two translated vols... Any info about further translation? Geez, I`d sure like Baka-Tsuki to translate them than some random book\comic company...
