Ani-Manga...WTF

anybody heard of this?..my friend has one and its kinda wierd..they take screenshots from the anime and make it a manga...so i guess tahts why its called a "ani-manga"

I have only heard of one of these. Read about it at Narutards Naruto - 68 (sub) ?!?!

Is this the same one that your friend has?

Yea, Viz did it on spirited away, and just started doing it to inuyasha. I'm guessing they're trying to reach the comic styled market, with color pictures and all.

They're also called "cel manga" and are fairly common. For example, there's cel manga for the entire Ah My Godess OAVs.

It's nothing new, they have done it for cartoons for years. It's an easy fairly cheap product to make.
