Yuri's older brother seems to be more funny than ever in this first episode. I laughed when Murata barged in his room while he was in the middle of playing a dating-sim game XD. His face was priceless lol.

I have never seen the Kyou Kara Maou TV anime series at all. I only came in contact with this OVA because the title interested me and read the synopsis for the TV anime at anime news network.

Although the TV series is licensed, I do not have to worry because I'm gut certain that ANIMAX will air on next year in my country.

Anyways I have already spoiled myself by watching the first OVA chapter. The visuals were decent, but I think that the amalgam of different medieval settings looks promising and beautiful.

I just don't know why Akira Ishida has this trend or inclinations whatever to voice bishounen guys who are effeminate or are unisexual male but with female looks.

Ugh! I, fortunately, survived the whole bath scene but to ask Yuri to call him Sara just to be familiar with a shortened name addressing I think is too much to ask.

Overall, no action happened in the first chapter.

OMG our new antagonist is such a bishie AND voiced by one of my favorite seiyuus of all time! I love you Ishida Akira!!!

Not alot of action here...but it's just darned good to see the KKM cast back in action. When's the next one released?
[edit] whoops, I see it'll be released at the end of Nov...good, not too far away.

O_O!! So am I! Alright, so neither of their reactions were really about Shin Ou himself, but ... Shin Ou is actually ALIVE now??? From the end of the TV series, my impression was that his spirit wasn't actually destroyed, but returned to the Temple to continue guiding the Mazoku. But ... Oh YEAH! That's ... so unexpectedly awesome. Can we see Murata use some more maryoku this time, please?

Overall, no action happened in the first chapter. Spoiler: Save that Sararegi is coveting the Maou to come to his country. Sararegi was performing a sort of suggestion spell on Yuri to make him willing go with him (Sararegi) to Small Simarron but stopped because I'm dead sure he felt the pressence of someone very close to the vicinity, who was Yozak. But still, I don't think he should have tried a trick like that on Yuri. I mean Yuri voiced his choice to come to Sararegi's homeland because he truly believe in peaceful ways to cooperate and help other nations. __________________ Midday SpringTime DayDream
