Haha, do people swoon over Ikuto? All I know is, Yoru is my favorite shugo chara ~nyao. I like his sarcastic comments too.

Also to those who were not impressed with the blue tinted take on the transformation sequence, I think you could kind of seeing it coming. During the intro they show parts of the transformation sequences for all 3 charas. The green one is going to be the same too most likely.

But personally that didn't bother me at all. (Then again I always thought of transformation sequences as a way for the animators to fill 15-30 seconds each episode without paying for it.)

I kind of wonder about the Embryo. I think Teach's plan is pretty much worthless. I mean, if he can taint an egg at all, it's highly unlikely it'll be something that great. I think the "Embryo" wouldn't even react to such attempts at spoiling it, but would rather sit hidden until the person holding it is actually able to realize his dream. On the other hand, the Embryo might appear from an X that gets purified. One thing I do know, having made the mistake of reading Wiki.

If Amu's Diamond becomes the Embryo, I doubt it'll be following the path of the actual manga. I've read that Amu's Diamond actually doesn't CharaNari with her, starts out as an X that does a CN with Ikuto's yet-unseen sister, and winds up sticking around that sister, whereas the sister has a second Chara appear that refuses to CN with HER, and instead sort of gets adopted by Amu as a Diamond replacement.

Anyway, I think the legend/prophecy says only that the girl with 3 SC's is the one who will find/obtain the Embryo, not that it's going to be born from her.
One other possibility is Chara-fusion. I know that sounds weird and a little dbz, but go with me on this. People may have multiple dreams and goals and ways they want to be, but this changes with time. Either the person comes to become one of those characters, or to set aside some of the dreams, or perhaps their dreams evolve and start to become one and the same. After all, for all the different ways Amu wants to be, she keeps saying she really just wants to be who she really is, without any facades. In that case, perhaps she'll eventually mature and her different Charas will fuse and THAT will be the Embryo.
For now, I'm waiting for the devil-girl of the OP and the inevitable key to the lock.

episode 7 was better than my expectations though, I hoped it was going to be good and I think it scored. may be too sweet for some, though. episode 8 also looks like its going to be hot too.

I am looking forward to the day Daiya will revert back to being on the good side, and chara-nari with her original owner Amu.

And I believe when that time comes, something BIG will happen, like the fusion of Charas as Seiryuu mentions. THAT, and perhaps some events which will finally allow Ikuto's key to unlock the Humpty Lock, will bring about the Embryo.

Ep. 7 was fun and a nice change of pace.

I wonder if Ami is going to be doing more adventuring with Amu and the Guardians? Who knows... if there's going to be a lot of fillers, then maybe. (I think I can only take Ami in small doses though.)

Who knew Yoru could whistle so well with that paw? And he can control cats too! Will wonders never cease. And hey, why is it that Yoru seems more interested in the Embryo than Ikuto does?

And hold on, Miki has a crush on Mad King Kiseki? (Much to the shock and dismay of Ran and Soccer Chara). Hopefully she will come to her senses.

Woe Peach Pit really know how to do cute. Ami is just so cute and I loved the way at the end when she goes that she wants to be like her sister, how she loaded it to get some ice cream

It very much seems to me that the chara's are the childish representations of their inner dreams, so with Yoru that seems to be his inner self. I guess his attitude right now is brought on by the reality of the evil adults.

Ooo I wonder who the blond girl is to Ikuto, I just hope it isn't his sister that has a mad crush on him. I do see a lot of sparks flying between her and Amu

Very cute episode with a nice bit of insight into Amu.

You liked the way that she tried to manipulate her sister into buying her ice cream? Her technique was still immature, but she is shaping up to be quite the little bitch. Hard to believe that at her age, she has already figured out that she can get her way by flattering others. Manipulative!

This isn't the first time we've seen bad things in Ami's character. In a previous episode we saw her start to get bratty when daddy stopped filming her. Between these two events I am taking quite a dislike to that little brat.

Her parents spoile her way too much and if they don't stop she's going to be rotten.
