Years ago I watched this movie on TV that I really liked. I have since completely forgotten the title of the movie. (I'm pretty sure the title was in Japanese.) I was hoping maybe someone might know which movie I am talking about. Unfortunately, I really don't have much description to go off of, so please pardon this. Anyhow, this is what I do remember:

One of the largest things I remember was that, at least at the end, the main character, who was a boy, had to defeat something that he referred to as 'Mother'. I don't know if this thing was really his mother at some point or just a name. (No this is not FF: Advent Children, I wish it was that easy ^^;; hehe).

I also remember one of the environments being almost like a desert with a what seemed to be war-torn village in it. There were guns used, and I believe I remember some sort of small hovercraft.

Again, I know this is not much to go by, but unfortunately it is all I remember ; ;. If anyone has any information whatsoever, I would be very grateful.

Yeah, sounds a lot like Green Legend Ran.
Considering the length (since there's only three episode, it can be mistaken for a movie) Teppei probably nailed this one.

Can anyone help me with this?. Well in school they were showing an anime. I had asked for the name but nobody could help me. A short description would be something like:

This man was in a Robot that sort of looked like a gundam. It had wings on its back, and some on its legs, he looked like he was hallucinating while he was inside it because he was seeing his own wedding with the woman he loved while he was piloting it. He had no idea he was destroying the surrounding areas. A woman tried to snap him out of it but it was futile and so they shot him down and killed him.

it's abot a girl who fights during the night using a gymnastics ribbon or something like that and during daytime she's a normal girl... also a gymnast, if i remember correctly.. i haven't seen it for quite a long time.. could you help me please?

Could it be Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne? I don't remember if she fights with a ribbon, but I for some reason I think she might. There's an anime and a manga... and her and her friend are in gymnastics at school, I believe.

The only anime that I know where a girl fights with gymnastics is Ranma 1/2.
Kodachi first appears sneaking around at night and fights with gymnastics martial arts,
but she does this during the day as well.
