Recent chapters, 150-153.

Seems that Aika also has a connection to the same type of pendant Mikado gave to Hayate, also evident when Isumi leans to her chest, and when the pendant shines. Proves this arc may have had a purpose than the humorous adventures being chased by a forest bear.

Seems Azumamiya fully admires Hayate, and looks up to him now, after getting saved by him without a doubt. I look forward to seeing more of Azumamiya's development. And poor Segawa-san, ahahaha ^__^ Oh and end of chapter 153, some Maria interaction with her woodland friends and...Isumi brought home a new "friend."

I think he's making decent headway on both ends. Though the focus seems to have shifted to how the others deal with their emotions and not how Hayate can seduce everyone. Which is fine, but.. as has been said Maria is in limbo right now. And I want the Maria end too

Not really in this case, cause Hayate had made it very clear in the early parts of the story that he has no romantic interest in Negi at all... And several times he has shown more interest in Hina, Ayumu and Maria...

...Like in chapter 154 Where we have a much awaited Hayate/Maria scene, with Hayate not minding being trapped in the dark with her.

Nagi is sick at home, so Hayate and Ayumu walk home together after their part time job. On the way home, they stop by Nishizawa's school. Hayate is reminded that IF his parents hadn't sold him to the "very kind people," he might have had a normal life, and with Ayumu confessing to him... Hayate also refers to her as "an important person to him" later in the chapter. Two points for Nishizawa!

Minus points for Hinagiku, though. Hayate seriously believes that Hina doesn't like him.

If anything, I consider this good news for Hina fans. In a way, it was brilliant to finally relieve Hina of her guilt trip towards Ayumu, but at the same time use her "must not lose" fanaticism as a stopper against what would OTHERWISE be a flat-out Hina confession. In other words, the author now has some more development room for Hina, by gradually altering Hayate's misguided impression of her. We should soon get some more Hina chapters anyway, and if anything, this detail was purposely dropped to point out there's more in store for us Hina shippers

All IMHO, of course.
