Maniac Mansion for the PC. Actually, it's the fanmade "Deluxe" version, but it's apparently faithful to the original game to begin with. I've beaten it a couple of times yet it's fun to locate all the different ways to get rid of the purple meteor with different characters. Not long before I played this, I was hooked on its sequel, Day of the Tentacle, which I like just about the same.

I'm currently in UT GOTY for the heck of it. I used to be obsessed with Hitman 2, but I'm easing out of it now.
I haven't played console games for months; I'm not into them as much as I used to. That's why I had the nerve to turn down a friend's offer to come to a Halo tournament at his house this afternoon. :P With a controller, I would be incredibly slow. But with a mouse, everything changes. ^^

I dusted of my old PS1 and started playing Final Fantasy IX. I have always had it sitting on my shelf, but I lost the second disc a long time ago before I managed to reach that point in the game, and finally I found it again ^_^.
Crysis! I still haven't finished it (Final Fantasy IX pulled me away xD) but I noticed that I also needed to update drivers due to issues arising from the game (Entire system lock-up causing not only the game to crash, but my entire system to lock-up upon booting if I waited for less than 3 minutes before rebooting after the crash >_<"). Fun game though ^_^

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
I highly recommend this game to all FPS buffs out there, or anyone looking to pickup a good game for the holidays. Simply amazing. Devil May Cry 3 Number four is coming out early February, so I'm getting back into the swing of things. I haven't played this game since it first came out, like three years ago. I forgot how punishing it was, but I wanna be ready for the big one coming up. |
