Question from a File Ignorant

Hi, I want to download torrent files, but unfortunitly am unable to download many files onto a public computer in order to be capable of reading them. Is there a way to convert torrents into say... zip files. Rar doesn't work for me either.

If not then I will miss out on a series I want to get into and understand and the lack of information is driving me insane...r.

PLease I hope you can help.

I download the torrents and just get a single little box that says the computer will choose how to open it. And.... it doesn't. Can't download anything, so.... what can I do?

What you've got is a torrent file for the file and not the file itself. =|

Download Utorrent first then open the application, click add torrent and select whatever torrent you downloaded earlier.

Ok, I'll try that, but what if I can't download anything on the computer cause it's public? Somethings I can and some I can't. Will try... MM be back to you if it works or not.

Most public computers will let you attach a flash drive. Put utorrent on the flash drive, set up folders in it... then run utorrent from the flash drive on the public computer and have it store the torrent link file, the torrent partial, and the finals in the flash drive.

I do this all the time from public and college library computers with no problems.
