Language Translator Program

Can anyone tell me whats a program I can download to read the Japanese/Chinese or other language text on my computer? My internet browser can perfectly see other language text but when its my computer it shows these square or bracket or weird letters instead of displaying chinese or japanese.

p.s i tried googling it but i just cant seem to find wat i wanted i suck at googling lol

Try to install a chinese version of windowsXP. It can display both english and chinese language very well. I'm using it, it works well. XD

Download this from Microsoft. , then go to control panel, then regional langauge and then add keyboard and langauge file of choice.

Its always interesting to me how many people "lose" their operating system disks ... probably the most important part of their computer... not that I'm implying anything.

Assuming one can get a hold of a disk or use kitto-chan's link ... this guide from Declan's (language teaching company) is supremo in getting your computer up to speed in East Asian languages.

In case you're in need of translating directly from web pages, there's a nifty Firefox extension called Rikai-chan which automatically shows a dictionary entry of the word or kanji when you hover the mouse over it.

EDIT: What, seems I've misunderstood the question... you really posted a misleading title there.

ok i just recently install the languages from the window xp pro service pack 2 anyone know why i still cant see the eastern language text when i play warcraft or starcraft or when i run programs like rainmeter?
