Exclamation Can't playback "you are under arrest 2"

Hi,

I have problem playing all the avi in this season

I had Divx 5.1.1 but I cannot playback
I have also tried to install ffdshow-20030523 but I still cannot playback...

Anyone know what codec do I need?

thanks

First of all, I assume you have correctly finished the download (I assume you used the '1-26+Special' torrent). Just run the torrent again to make sure it is completed

Using Media Player Classic (6.4.7.8) and ffdshow-20030523 I didn't have any problem with viewing the Special just now (don't have the others to hand to try them all).

Which episodes are you having problems with?
What media player are you using?
Apart from ffdshow, have you uninstalled all the other codecs, DivX as well?
What exactly is the problem you're having. Telling us it "doesn't playback" doesn't help describe the error or the problem.

I am using windowsmedia 9

Nope, sfv = Simple File Validation.
They give a CRC32 sumcheck (i.e. confirm the file hasn't been corrupted).
You can ignore those files as far as playback is concerned. If BT ran the checksum with no problems, it means the files are OK.

I would still recommend you remove all the codecs and install just ffdshow. Try to see if that solves the problem. You can always reinstall the 3ivx codec back again (if needed).

Also I would recommend Media Player Classic as an alternative to WMP. Have a look at the stickies in this forum for where to dl MPC.
