TrueCrypt 5.0 Full Drve Encryption for Windows

The latest feature adds full drive encryption to it's tool set. Really useful for those who carry sensitive data on their lappies like UK government officials (hint hint).

Easy to use, but I've only used it for a few days now so I'm not too sure how stable it is. No noticeable affects to my speed on my dual core 2ghz amd though....

Make sure you back up your data if you do decide to use it. Encryption makes data fragile.

My dorm roommate tried it, and Windows whined. He had to spend 8 hours to decrypt his HDD back, on top of 8 hours that he spent encrypting it all.

Youchies, I read that some people where having problems with the system drive not being the first drive. I guess this is defiantly a case of backup first.
