Did anyone get a Space Cowboy vibe from the last scene? I sure as hell did.

All in all I can't wait for the next episode, I know an Hayate/Hina ending would be impossible but a man can dream can't he? Also at the end of the episode I didn't know whether to laugh or not at the obvious Iron Giant reference. Felt kinda of cheesy IMO but in a good way.

Spaaaaaaaaaaaartaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa !

This episode gave me vibes that Bandai Visual paid Synergy SP to do that meteor drop right at the end. The blu ray release of CCA was due for release a a few days after the airing.

Just before any misunderstandings pop up:

The upcoming Hina episode is _not_ (I repeat: NOT) part of the Hina arc from the mangas which was cut. I's clearly an anime-original episode, and the way they're presenting it, obviously a single-shot, too.

So, we Hina-shippers are still cheated out of what's rightfully ours (*waving burning torches*), but better than nothing, I guess.

If BV did pay for some advertising, why not push it to the limit, if you know what I mean?

But yeah I was half expecting that CCA quote to pop up when it was about to take off. The one with 'just a rock'.

If it were part of the arc, I'd be one of those crying foul, since it is ending at the 52-ep-mark.

4 eps isn't enough for 2 volumes of material.

I was fairly sure of that, since 1) Lately they've been giving an episode to each character and 2) With the anime ending at 52, I believe it would be too late to set up major changements in terms of relationships.
I'd rather they go with an open ending, and restart from where they left soon.

Anyway, little Easter Egg (for us Hina-shippers) coming in the episode 48 poll.

Yeah, one of us should have pointed this out at the start of the thread or something.

Even more reason why we need another season. They must know how special that part of the manga is to us fans, and we'd love to see it animated.

Episode 48 was one of the more enjoyable ones in recent memory.

It was fun to see Maria in the Lum bikini and cat ears. I loved Rie Tanka’s voice saying “nya”! She’s one of my favorite seiyuus, I can’t get an enough of her. Maria is probably my favorite role out of what she has done so far.

Otherwise, I’m looking forward to the Hina centric episode 48. I love her dearly; she could be my girl any day.

episode 47 was fun good times for all I think the best has to be Najis evil grin of finding out that Hayate was jealous and of course Maria in a bikini and cat ears WIN WIN all around. The real hype is about 48 Hinagiku time I can never get enough of her too bad Hayate is coming to an end.

It hasn't. They've all had plots and stories.
