I was in suncoast today, where I noticed the dvd for Comic Party. Normally I would just buy something without hesitation, but since I'm a little short on cash this month, I thought I'd ask if it was worth buying first. So is it?

I tought it was kinda ok. The interesting thing about this series is they talk about how to make your own manga, it was kinda educating when I watch it. ^^

Comic Party is about the everyday toils of Kazuki, a guy who recently discovered the world of doujinshi, the fan-drawn manga.
It was originally an H-Game [it shows. Every female character loves Kazuki]. The storyline is mediocre, but I learned a lot about the drawing of manga...

Thanks for the replies. I guess I'll pass for now and check it out when I have more discretionary income.

It sounds interesting though. I tend to like unusual series.

Download and watch Comic Party Revolution. It'll give you an idea about the type of comedy in the series. I don't see it on animesuki anymore but Miyuki-Fansubs subbed it. I don't think it's licensed.

I enjoyed the series but thought Revolution was funnier. Probably because it packs everything it can into the episode.
