The fighting scenes are extremely well done. My favorite is the Ozma Gerwalk Dodge!

Alien points gun at his face and in a split second, he busts out gerwalk mode and dodges underneath the blasts and knocks alien away.

The entire sequence was incredible when they switch to the bgm from episode 1 when Ozma makes the save to alto going sugoi with Michael just showing up in the background.

I truly sympathize. A lot of episode 2s and episode 1s of other titles aren't out yet either. Patience is a virtue.

As eagerly as I await the subs, considering the fact that they're done for free by people who volunteer their expertise and time, I don't think we should act like we expect them to come out within a day or so.

I read the plot summary at Random Curiosity and saw the raw. I thus could only really appreciate the fight scene, but man, this series looks very strong so far. I especially liked Alto's brief PTSD moment; it's nice to see a portrayal of a male lead who has realistic problems with combat stress, without becoming unnecessarily emo. Alto looks like he has the potential to be a serious badass, but he's still human, and I like the fact that he really *was* unsettled by all the carnage. But he was still eager to go back into the fray at his first opportunity.

I'm also absolutely in luv with Ranka. *sigh* I hope we don't have a romantic ending like SDF Macross, where the initial front runner in the triangle loses out.

I'll agree on how hot the LT is, but Ranka is just *so* charming. The gravity-less hair is an especially nice touch.

Sub is free, but it has a potential to gain income from it.
a few big Chinese-fansub group has their own forum and website, I think the actually generate decent income...
is it true when any show became licensed the fansub group has to stop releasing it?

This is a Macross title. I don't think you have to worry about that for a long time.

It would be a good thing if they did but some groups do continue.
