Yeah, I chalk most of that up to the huge hormonal imbalance that his body is probably experiencing. His body has to be very messed up during the transition in some sense since he is turning into a girl which means that his state of mind is probably being affected by an overload of hormones which is why he's acting so vulnerable.

I'm sure he'll be back to the usual with a female mentality when 66 rolls around and he's fully winged (female).

I wonder if Kagari's voice is supposed become more feminine as well... I mean, if it stays the same then it's just going to be even weirder.

I suppose the anime will portray him as having an androgynous voice, but surely there will still be a masculine edge to it, right?

With a sudden and holistic gender change such as this, the poor dude girl is going to be confused about a lot of things for quite some time.

Im assuming thats why a female seiyuu will be voicing him, start out sounding male and then possibly sounding more female when the anime hits this part.
