Hello everybody, pleased to meet you !
So i'm Ialdaboth, an anime & manga amateur (among many other things, first of all books ^^). My favorites shows, recently, have been Marimite, ROD the TV, 12 Kokki, Planetes, Jungle Guu (oh yes), Yamibou, Wolf's Rain, HaibaneRenmei (and not so recently : Boogiepop, Utena, Onisama e, Karekano, FLCL, Miyu, Giant Robo, Violonist of Hameln, Urusei Yatsura - Beautiful Dreamer, Patlabor 2, Ninja Scroll, Miyazaki (Kiki, Porco Rosso, On Your Mark, Laputa), Kaze no tairiku, Darkside Blues... My favorites mangas are The Five Star Stories, Kaori Yuki ones, Atsushi Kamijo's Sex, Berserk, Blade of the Immortal, and i'm reading Kaguya Hime with a lot of interest (i love shoujo stuff ^_^). Btw i'm french too. Yes, another one

Hello to all
 At least I've subscribed myself to this board. About 1˝ year ago, a friend from school put my attention to Anime. I began watching anime with a classic one: Neo Genegis Evangelion (damn I hope I'm writing it correct  )Bit by bit I'm exploring the world of anime and enjoying it much and much more  Nowdays I might say I'm not a newbie (at anime ) anymore. I haven't seen it all (impossible, if you ask me), but till now I think I've seen about 88 series/movies.Some I love, some I'm wondering why the h*ll I'm watching it A few of my favorites: - Slayers (Season 1,2 and 3) - Berserk - NGE (with both endings, the still intrige me )- Air Master (seen recently, I love this anime )- Ranma ˝ (season 1 to 7, Hippo is my Idoll *sweet* )- Kenshin (OAV and TV series) - Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 1st Gig (also recently seen, hope they finnish the 2nd season quick )- Blue Gender (very nice, not-so-for-kiddies-but-no-hentai-anime, if I may call it thay way) I'm still watching a lot of series. IE: - Naruto (hell, eps 60-75 are really slow :|, but overall a nice anime) - Inuyasha (quite nice, but a some points I think a *bit* slow) - Tenjou Tenge (only seen eps 1-2, but it have potential) Well, It's quite late here in Holland (where I live), about 1:50AM local time. So I need to finnish this one quick (don't mind the typos, I don't do anyway )Last thing to say in this post: Anime is addictive  (and yes, I'm a victim as well)

I am rather new here, but I have been lurking about for some time, just to get a feel for the place. I usually refrain from joining anime communities because the hardcore fans tend to bother me, but I haven't seen that so far here. I am a bit of an anime fogey....I have been watching anime since I was about 5 (I am 20 now), and my favorites include:
The Vision of Escaflowne Unico Doremon Captain Harlock Black Jack Cowboy Bebop Gungrave Kino No Tabi Angelique Battle Angel Alita Please Save My Earth Blade of the Immortal Basara Darkside Blues Trigun The Five Star Stories Boogiepop Phantom The Tale of Genji The Violinist of Hamlin I may stick around for a while, but you never know. I am pretty fickle. |

Hey new people, nice to meet you, you may PM any questions you have about these forums. I am in charge of holding your guy's hands for your first few weeks so you can survive here and become a productive member.
ANd here is you're first helpful hint: the only people you cannot trust in these forums are the people who greet you here in this thread, this is 100% true, trust me.
