Exclamation Virus?!

hey guys ya i dont get it i downloaded the newest bittorent and i got a virus??? my friend downloaded it and his computer doesnt want to start? whats up with it.. did any one else get this problem?

where did you download it from? you prolly downloaded a virus. Google for "abc BT client" and download that.

There is a little known provision in the Forum Rules that explicitly allows a moderator to remove any signature image that they believe to be inappropriate for any reason. I have saved this image into my "WTF directory" just in case I ever wonder if it was only been a bad dream, and have removed it from the forum. Hopefully Lexander will never do this again!

Did he install that BitTorrent client that comes up in a pop-up windows at the Suprnova site? Or... Did he enter there with Internet Explorer, without any pop-up blocker installed and without antivirus software installed? Because... At Suprnova, there is some pop-up window that advertises a BitTorrent client which is actually malware, and there is a pop-up window that plants in the PC a virus, I don't remember which one exactly... And if he hadn't had an antivirus software installed, this might have hurt his PC. Anyway, I don't think that a virus could cause this much of a trouble... Can you tell where exactly his PC is not continuing to start-up? Because, maybe in the worst case... You could boot from a Windows XP installation CD, format his PC, and install that OS, or just re-installing the OS.

thnx for the link..ya i did download that popup thing in suprnova GGGGRRRRR dang i shouldnt have but luckily i have anti virus and about my friend he doesnt want to talk about it cuz if i ask him any thing about it he might rememeber that I WAS THE ONE that told him to download it...soo he might get mad again >: thanks people
