I've seen a lot of spinoffs for Mikuru's Mikuru Beam...haven't seen the Starlight Breaker version, but I'll look it up.

So Mikuru=Nanoha.
So that means Haruhi=Hayate not because of their names both starting with "H", but because they both started some kind of Brigade. Haruhi (SOS Dan) and Hayate (RF6 - Riot Force 6)
Yuki=Fate...I guess...
And of course, Kyon=Chrono.

(OK enough of this off topic-ness...we might get flamed for it.)

Nah, I'd think it's the other way around. Chrono is much more snarky than Yuuno, and then there's the fact that Chrono was also voiced by Tomokazu Sugita...

This is some extremely powerful work ... and as such I deem it undeserving of that fetish comment you made. Looks like the surviving members of the SOS brigade will have their work cut out for them, fixing whatever went wrong this time.
This could be the world that remains in the aftermath of a direct battle between the Thought integrated entity and the Canopy domain ... Or one that comes to be if Sasaki is given Haruhi's power; a place of frightful calm with no potential for life to start again and cause chaos.

Thats a pretty serious scenario for Haruhi and Kyon. Looks like the aftermath if Haruhi had her wish of restarting the world and Kyon was just caught in the middle of it.
Pretty brutal having Kyon with no limbs...ouch.
