Work/Office anime

Yeah, I'm just wondering if there's any anime where the setting is mostly in an office or work type of environment. The story can be about anything as long as the setting is there.

Hataraki Man should fit the bill http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/ency...me.php?id=6688 It's a somewhat sexist story, part of the premise is that the main character is too "mannish" in her work.

Hataraki Man is the obvious first choice, but you might also want to take a look at Planetes, a series about a bunch of space trash collectors. A lot of the show focuses on their workplace activities on a space station orbiting earth.

Animation Runner Kuromi - girl's first job at an anime production company
Koi Kaze - while not the focus of the show, Koushirou's workplace is one of the major settings
Toshokan Sensou - currently airing; the premise is rather silly, but that's okay I guess; the protagonist works at a militant library--the clerical work does take a back seat to the action ^^
There are quite a few office lady manga if you're interested.

Since no one has mentioned it: Dai-Guard - a mecha action-adventure in which government employees, in charge of a Giant Robot, must fill out the appropriate paperwork in order to request to take the Mecha out to fight alien foes...the first 13 episodes are pretty funny, and meet all of your requirements, but the last part of the series loses its steam.

I can't believe I didn't think of this at first, but I'll recommend REC.

REC is a shortseries (even the episodes are only half-length), but I enjoyed every bit of it. The genre is romance/comedy/work life, the protagonists are a junior employee at an advertising company and an aspiring seiyuu, and the setting is split between an apartment and their work environments (office, studio, and on-site).
