Oh gawd..I got kinda confused before so I was just playing around...now im really trying but i got some problems...

-When I use virtual dub...and I change the clip I cut into an Avi. File...It's exremely big

-When I export the AMV... It's even bigger...

First of all can anybody help me with the size problems?...second...is there another program like Virtual Dub?...because I dislike Virtual Dub (slow)

You need to use a codec and compress the video file to get it to a managable size. If you think VirtualDub is too slow, then AMV creation may not be for you.

hmm...i thought virtualdub was slow compared to other's...guess not...i'll guess i'll do that

What program i can use to convert Mp3 to Wav so I can use with Vdub?

You can do it with VirtualDub. Maybe you mean that you want to convert it to WAV so you can use it as your audio source in TMPGEnc... Anyway, in VirtualDub, after loading the AVI into it, click Start > Save WAV, that's it.

yeah, I'm trying to use a song in mp3 format, but Vdub won't let me. how do i convert that song to wav?

Hmmm... Are you getting some kind of error message after loading the AVI? If so, I think that your AVI audio is MP3 VBR, which is troublesome for VirtualDub to handle. I think that VirtualDubMod is able to handle VBR MP3, because it includes a lot VirtualDub mods in it, and if I'm not mistaken, one of them is able to handle VBR MP3s. If not, you can always use a program like GoldWave to convert your AVI audio into WAV.

No, I'm not using the the sound from AVI, I'm doing music video, and i'm using a song in mp3 format. and the Vdub only recognize wav files.

In that case, you could use GoldWave, but... dBpowerAMP Music Converter will be a better choice.
