A lighting storm in Vienna (where the broadcasting centre is located) was the cause of the video/audio problems.

Anyway it seems that Germany playing well was an one time thing, they were awful against Turkey who, for the first time, deserved to win a match and yet they lost. Irony can be cruel.

No doubt in my mind Germany will win this.

Munich is actually becoming some sort of prussian enclave within Bayern .

No. As much as I try, I can't identify myself with Adolf Kottan

Spain vs Russia.

Rather boring first half, the only notable thing was the injury of Villa.

3 - 0 for Spain. What a dominating second half from them.

Grand finale: Germany vs Spain.

Great performance by Spain. Aragones got things right by bringing in Fabregas for the injured Villa, for he set up the last two goals. The decision to bring in Guiza for Torres was also vindicated as Torres was marked to death and wasn't able to perform due to his reputation. Spain deserved to win this match.

So it's Germany vs Spain then, this should be fun to watch. Though I'm now conflicted, as I've always supported Germany, but you can't help but feel that this should be Spain's year as well and they do deserve this.

Sorry, but implying that Germany play dirty football compared to Spain is an insult to all the hard work Klinnsmann and Joachim Low has done in making Germany break out of their stereotype and become an enjoyable attacking team to watch.

OTOH, Italy is still the same old Italy, and if wasn't for the fact that they fear Germany's PK 100% record, they would have parked their team coach in front of their goal in that game in Dortmund two years ago instead of taking the courage to attack, and once they reach the final with France, they revert back.

Are we watching the same Euro? Because Germany only had one match that reminded me of their 2006 team and they deservedly won that quarter-final, funnily enough it wasn't Low who coached the team in that match. Against Turkey they were piss poor, and the Turks with their third rate team were outplaying them in some moments. They were struggling against Austria and they were poor against Croatia.
