Actually, there's a strong chance that there will be a second season in the fall, like with Vampire Knight. The way episode 12 ended seemed to be just a stopping point instead of the end, and we still have five more volumes of the manga to cover.

Official sources did indeed say 24 episodes before it aired.

I'm so super happy there's a second season ~ ! This is my favorite yaoi anime of all time. (Not that there are many...) I've heard that the DVD is selling very well. I hope there is a license sometime in the future so I can own it!

Actually, it has been licensed. Kadokawa sent out the announcement to cease distribution, and later revealed that it had been licensed alongside several other shows.

I thought it was an adorable episode as usual. But it seems like Usagi's brother will have a bigger place in the second season. ^^
