wow.. alot of series seem to be getting extra season reboots KKM season3, A tale Of Melo-Memories along with Nodame Cantabile season2 (which im very glad got a second season btw) and then there is slayers season 4 coming out.. i thought that franchise was long dead, i have no qualms about studio's making extra seasons just as long as it doesnt turn into another Naruto Bleach Filler Festival.

ef -A tale of Melodies- isn't an "extra season reboot" nor is it filler as it's just animating the two other routes from the eroge.

on the official website of Jigoku Shoujo there has been some news !
first it's now written on it that Mitsuganae will make its debut on the 4th of October !
and then the character section has been changed !
in addition to Mikage (the teenage school girl) and Yamawaro (the new yellow straw doll) there is now : Kikuri, Akie, Sora, Nozomi and Tamayo, but apart from Kikuri there's no pictures of the news characters just : "now printing"

technically speaking, Ai is over hundred years old and for her to live a normal life would mean, all the years that gone past her would all the same time attack her body and will turn to ashes She and her parents will prolly be freed and hopefully be with her parents once more in an eternal peaceful slumber.

yes, a new straw doll, yellow this time, we also know that most of this season will take place in a collegue, and that Mikage is a girl in the school, Ren Wanyudo and Hone Onna could assume the same job that they did in the opening episode of season 2,
but what else do we know ?
personnaly I love this anime but I think that a little more action would be a good thing ! maybe will we see the return of the Hell Boy ! after all he said to Ai that ultimately he will return from Hell !! what do you think ?

yes, Ren, Onna and Wanyudo will be in it,
Ren will have be named : Yasuhiro YUZUKI and will be the science teacher,
Hone Onna will be the sport teacher and will take again the name of : Anna Sone,
Wanyudo will be a member of the School Comitee,
Kikuri will be freed of the Lord of Hell so she will certainly be different from Futakomori,
the new straw doll : Yamawaro is a quiet an calm boy, he often fo his mission with Kikuri

and to finish Mikage will be a girl in the school in which Ren and Onna are teachers, a though she's a normal girl, she'll have deep involvments with Jigoku Tsuchin

no there will be 26 episodes again (at least as far as we know) but animenewsnetwork.com has listed the airing dates of the thirteens first !
