Nadesico novels

Hi there

I recently rewatched The Nadesico movie and realised I didn't understand a lot of what was going on.

Is it true there are novels that fill in the gap between the movie and the series?

Many thanks

Yes there are novels that fill up the gap, its originally from a Sega Saturn game though.

And these items are extremely rare, I have no real idea how to get them.

Best place is either specialty stores or ebay. But they're out of print and highly collectable these days. I've seen copies selling for as much as $50 a piece

Are there any scans of the covers of these novels? So as to have an idea of the artstyle the light novels took?

So there are novelization of the game then.

Then, are there also novels that take place after the movie? I know there's a game that continues after the movie with Ruri searching for Akito, so I'd imagine there are possible novelization of that too.
