Well, Yukana was using the exact same tones in the game, and the game was out almost a year before the first Code Geass series iirc, so I don't think that she's sounding like C.C on purpose. (chronologically speaking it should be C.C that sounds like Tear! XD) On the other side though this show being sponsored by Pizza Hut isn't helping much

C.C voice carries an arrogant tone to it than Tear's so there is a difference albeit slightly.

Unless she addresses Luke as 'boy', it's not a complete transition from CC.

Of course, that still doesn't stop him from becoming fujoshi fodder. Namco can be pretty smart sometimes.

His gynophobia aside, his loyalty as a friend to Luke is a very pivotal aspect of Guy's character.

Abyss is widely accepted as a great RPG with solid character development and plot, but those same reasons are also why it's considered to have a most flawed and unlikable cast of party members. I personally don't get that though. Flawed characters, one way or another are just so much more emotionally immersing as opposed to cookie-cutter cool guys.

Oh my gosh I just watched the raw and the animation was stunning! Is the sub out yet?

Anyways I like how fast paced the first episode was, it looks like it's off to a good start, and it has some pretty fine action. I'm so excited to see them fight the god generals!!!

The only gripes I have is that Guy looks like a little boy (And I'm way too used to his English dub), and Tear looks kinda bad, but I think that should improve....I hope.

That's what I exactly meant about Namco being smart. They know how to appeal to certain audiences. They were practically baiting fujoshis with a character like Guy.

If anything, it's CC who sounds kind of like Tear. Tales of the Abyss came out first, but I suspect that some newcomers are more familiar with Code Geass.

Hmm, so far, so good. The tempo is rather good (considering total episode numbers)... Maybe because there are no dungeons and the events go on and on?
Animation is still pretty good.

Tear... I still don't see what's so great about her, but her random bursts of "Kawaii" over those bugs... I mean, pets (Shigurs or whatever it is) was amusing. I doubt I'll ever end up liking her, considering what I have seen of her character so far.

Luke's tsundere-ness is a good laugh. A bit mean at times, but currently, I find him to be an enjoyable lead.

Koyasu~ Sneaky intelligent character? I'll have to see more, but I like his voice actor, either way.

Cheagles. Blerg, I hadn't realized there was a two episode special today. Saturdays are crowded enough as it is. I'd honestly prefer a rebroadcast of episode 2 next week to move the primary back to Fridays.
