Anyone else love both the OP and ED songs? Not a lot of anime theme songs get in my head, the only recent shows I can think of where I can say I really liked the songs were the two Shana series.

Can't wait for OP and ED single to be released.

A nice little episode, introducing the art club, a fair amount of Tsugumi screentime, and at the end - Zange. The Tomatsu/Hanazawa duo is on screen yet again, Hanazawa acting considerably different from Yuka this time around. Even some Nagi fanservice in there. Mostly when we see how she got the school uniform in the first place.

Why did you have to appear, Zange...?
Well, it followed the manga and she has to appear some day, so it can't be helped... Too bad she goes on the list of the few Kannagi characters I dislike.

Yay~, finally appeared, all of the club members! Love these guys, especially Daitetsu.

Voice-wise, they all match, but Daitetsu's voice was lower than I expected.

Another great episode full of laughs!

The animation also kept itself under control this episode, compared to the previous episode, where the characters moved too much at times.

Preview: Yareyare, Zange's turn to appear... I wonder if that girl will have the same voice as her or not...

ED art by okama this time. Cute art, but I prefer the previous episode's. The way the ED started playing before the ED (visuals) started was a good surprise.

Oh, man, what a good show. It's the animation of comic character-moments, above all, for me.

Spoiler for ep2:

Such as the nosebleed scene with the art club sempai (dark-hair played by Hayamizu Risa, blonde hair by Nakahara Mai), or Nagi's expression as she jumps Tsugumi.

I fancied I saw some toning-down of the animation, but only from godly down to outstanding. As serenade_beta said, a little less excess movement. Not that I minded the excess.

Other moments I liked:

• the way Nagi says: "It's become a good country," after Jin tells her kids go to school every day.
• The way Sawashiro Miyuki says "how was the food?" and her character's disappointed reaction that he didn't praise the tamagoyaki that she made, expressed through eyes and the intonation of her voice saying: "Ah. So."
• When Jin's so scared before entering the "haunted" building that he has his hand in front of his face and says he can't see; and how he creeps in holding onto the big guy from behind.
• Nagi scratching her leg again, as she watches TV.
• The little bit of under-the-table fanservice, and the way Nagi narrowed her eyes, knowing Jin was hiding something
• The scene where Nagi is running toward Jin in an ecstasy of light...and the way he steps out of her way, letting her land on the ground.
• The way he pulls her behind the school with her heels dragging, and they are still dragging when he gets there. Good sound, good drawing.
• Their little push-hands fight. Good sound again, including Tomatsu's grunt.
• Nagi's little playing with her hair: a moment of super animation that makes you think it's all like that.
• The way Shimono Hiro sighs when Nagi starts talking all ojou-sama to Tsugumi. Communicates a lot in an instant.
• The very gentle and sensual ways Nagi touches Tsugumi. Once again, the right level of animation at the right time.
• Beautiful animation of Nagi's shirt, as she shakes it out after taking it off. Beautiful animation of her movements as she puts on the school shirt, brushes back her hair, etc.
• The way Nagi's eyes squint slightly at the moment they turn on the light in the old building.
• Great voicing of Nagi's sudden anger when everyone is scared.
• The way the three guys are clinging to each other, leaving Tsugumi alone.
• The way Jin's line after the teacher comes out of the basement slightly treads on the teacher's line, just as Nagi trod on his in ep1.
• like serenade_beta, I thought the way the ending music came up slightly early worked very well

It's not that these things are all unique, but that the drawing and timing and voicing seem so apt and humorous in almost every case.

This is one of those few shows that I watch again immediately after watching an episode the first time.

I like subtlety. I always did like a show that didn't try to break it down for me and would rather leave it to my own capability to understand. Episode 3 was wonderful in that respect. This show is a keeper.

Episode 3 was just about as good as an adaptation you could ask for, and even though I've read chapters 4 and 5 a few times I still enjoyed myself thanks to the animation and vocal acting which just makes this so fun to watch.

I like the music when Nagi tried to hug Jin in classic glomp scene. It is hilarious when he just sidestepped her while whole crowd watching Nagi dive flat on her face. The music touch is just nails the absurdity of the scene.

Isn't it simple? Nagi deserves getting her stupid head stepped so she gets some sense, or she will sit her ass there till a day she finds she has no power of goddess.

wow.. they are at it now. With all the artist club finally made their appearance it was only a matter of time till Zange appears, and she did. Adorable episode if i must say, lots of "moe~" moments specially when Nagi reached out to hug Jin PRICELESS!!

Daitetsu with the mo-mo-mooo was disturbingly cute too (i'll remember to wash my eyes later ). Tsugumi screentime is longer than i thought, she won't lose when it comes to displaying moeness. Love how she tried to scare the boys, her eyes was all creepy and convincing that she herself got dragged by her story when the professor slam the trap door.

lastly, ZANGE!! god i love how her introduction was done here. Squishing the impurity with her bare hands almost telling Nagi how weak she is by playing with a toy. Hopefully, more Jin teasing next episode

what's with Tsugumi and Nagi's blank eyes. It almost feels like the designers want the viewers to fall inlove with it or something. Meh, whatever it is i'm realy buying it

I can't believe that Jin dodged that hug...I'm totally shocked...really shocked...the dimwit idiot! That was a free hug as well

It was great to see more of the cast being revealed and not just that, it is great that the anime is adding onto the manga rather than take away from it. Daitetsu made me laugh so much because of his personality...for a guy with such a big body, he is more scared of ghosts than Jin Cliched humor but it still works in this case.

Tsugumi did such a great job too in scaring the living daylights out of everyone. I love the animation in this series as it looks "fun and arty" without even needing to be perfectly drawn. It just adds to the atmosphere imo.

Then there is Nagi and her ever so colourful personality. I swear that girl can change here character at the drop of a hat but I also love how she can be serious and avoid misunderstandings if needed. Her confrontation with Tsugumi is exactly what I am talking about. But she isn't the perfect goddess as Tsugumi still has the advantage on breast size
