He probably has a raw and 120fps is usually a 24/30fps VFR encode with dropped frames. Some anime are not 24fps throughout and have certain scenes or credits in 30fps.
Sorry orangpelupa, I don't know the answer to your question. Since the PS2 can't play avi by default, I assume that means you have a modded PS2? Or did you mistakenly mean PS3?

yeah, its RAW avi xvid video in 120fps.
i use my PS2 to play it using SMS (simple mediaplayer system). an homebrew application to play many media on PS2. my PS2 play it with no frame drop at all. but what my friend told me about playing 120fps make me afraid whether it will damage my PS2 or not. My ps2 dvd lens is dead, so i mainly use my ps2 as network multimedia player. it access my animes stored on my pc. thanks |

@TheFluff
Thanks. btw it play perfectly on my PS2. no droped frames no late frames no tearing no A/v sync problem so im no need to worry now about it damaging my ps2. thanks @shadow Minato Just install SMS, its an freeware homebrew appiclation. you can copy it to flash disk or PS2 memoryCard. then voila, your PS2 become Network multimedia player. |
