I liked this episode a lot.

Unfortunately, there's probably going to be some nasty remarks here and there, so as a preemptive measure, I'm going to say that it's best to try to save judgment until the end of this 3 episode arc.

ill give it a 10/10 normally, but isnt the ending abit...rushed?

i mean, it could have made a good emotional scene lasting at least 10 minutes, but it was done in 2? hmm.

but then again. minorin challenging the teacher was fun. so 9.5/10 it is.

its WIERD that they cut down on Shadow bridgade. i really wish they put the "shadow bridgade" on the anime . Even in words, that first part of the book was really funny

Whoever considered Ryuuji to be an utter wuss and Taiga a domineering bitch should watch this episode. Yes, she's horribly screwed up in the head and has had a bad family life... but at the same time, Ryuuji can make her back down with the force of his convictions and isn't one just to take every kick to the head lying down. And Taiga's dad isn't the utter monster he's been made out to be... merely being as messed up as his daughter since he effectively cast her aside to be with his hunni, who is now less than precious to him.

I feel sorry for her dad, that is one nastiest nut busting kick I ever seen. If I will be the dad, I will kick her ass for that. No daughter should kick her own father balls as form of greeting no matter what circumstances.

I am glad that they write out Shadow Brigade because it not fit the mood of the episode for me.

The teacher presence is brief but funny as hell to me as I can relate to it. And bald Minorin will traumatize some fans, for sure.

Overall a consistent writing. Kudos.




And I laughed so hard at this one. The only thing missing is a lightsaber for Ami.

Just saw the Chinese subs:

Pretty hilarious at the start and middle part. Side characters rule the day. Haruta and Yuri-sensei, and a few others as well.

The end does seem to be pretty condensed to me.

Not much relationship play in this one, cept for Ryuuji/Taiga.

Eagerly awaiting for the class battle royale.

Okay, now *I'm* confused... the mods used to routinely smack people for discussing raws before the fansub came out. If this has changed, fine -- but it'd be nice to know.
