I used Adobe ImageReady, which is not a freeware. However, there is one month trial where it can be used for free.

Just go here and you'll find a whole lot of avatar sets (scroll the tile menu as well). If the link doesn't work, it is in your user control panel (user cp ---> edit avatar)

Not really sure if for the second you meant 225 width and 350 height (which I did) or viceversa. Also I didn't understand if you wanted the border only on the left side, or if you wanted the name Chikaru . Anyway:
