x264 --longhelp, and google the TERMS you don't understand. The longhelp is perfectly adequate docu, it's more that people don't understand the general terms used rather than the documentation itself.

Ok, I've decided on this:

It works quickly, gives less errors and creates a decent file size for my needs.

BTW, what Deblocking option should I use?

I've seen

0:0
1:1
1:2
-1:-1
-1:-2
-2:-1
-2:-2

used. Which gives the best results in 2D animated content?

Generally higher settings give better results on anime unless you're trying to keep grain or extremely fine detail, in which case lower can help a bit.
