Thank you. I was scratching my head at that, seeing as I'm not into shounen-ai stuffs but love anime, I wouldn't be called a fujoshi neccessarily (applied to a Japanese yaoi fangirl who i know though)
Anyways, semantics and all, the title is fine as it is and this is an english speaking forum, so it works.

erf... didn't notice that either. The back of my brain said "no, that's not right." but I was more focused on "otaku girl" being close enough to get the point across.

The senior student lass with glasses in Kannagi has 'fujoshi' tendencies as I recall in addition to her other obsessions.

... I don't think I've even heard of a specific term for a "generic female obsessed fan" in japanese. onnanoko no otaku?????? meh, I doubt that one.

nope, there isn't a term for a female otaku...you might see the phrase otaku onna used online occaisionally, but in this day and age, otaku is more or less gender neutral.

I've heard "otako" but I have a feeling it isn't legit.
