Favorite music genre?

I like music that consists of the Trance/Dance/Drum and Bass genre most of all. Other than that I also adore rock, alternative rock, and some metal.

I can listen to practically anything.

Not to be fussy, but i wouldnt really call any of them bands "rock". at the very best they are alternative/pop-punk

Except nickelback, they are probably the most rock out of the mentioned bands.

You're obviously listening to the wrong music. No countries pop music is good.

As for me, I've never been very good with defining genres so I'll list some of my favorites and what wiki says they are.

Rx Bandits - move through the progressive/ska/reggae/rock genres
Stevie Wonder - soul/funk/r&b
The Beatles - you know 'em
Jamiroquai - acid jazz/funk/disco

But it's not so much the genre for it. I also like John Mayer (blues/pop) and Chris Thile/Nickel Creek (prog blue grass/folk/jazz) which aren't typically in genres that I like. The most important thing to me is musicianship and songwriting.
