Changing File extension .Torrent to . Video Clip

Hi quick question,

I downloaded a anime eps. and it ended up being a .Torrent rather than a .Video Clip, Can anyone tell me how to change the file extension to .Video Clip

You can't do that in Windows without a bit of work. Are you sure you're looking at the place where you saved the video, rather than the place where you saved the torrent file?

Yes It is the only copy of the file. Rather than being a .videoclip it is .torrent. I have checked and rechecked and it plays in WMP once I told the puter what program to use to open it.

In the Explorer window:

Tools -> Folder Options -> View

uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"

Now you can rename it to .avi (not .videoclip).

What is a RAR file

I just downloaded a file for the second time it was a 2020 meg file in fact I'm still uploading the file three days later and I still can't watch it . it's calling it self a RAR file it has a bit torrent icon I've already tried re-downloading on top of the same file name but no joy there either. Whats Up!

RAR files are like zip files. go here to get a decompressor http://www.rararchiver.com/
