You know, I have to say I've been very impressed so far with the Nightmare of Nunnally manga now that I've gotten to actually reading it. Most of the psychotic escapades I imagined from Nunnally were mostly derived from Nemo, so it wasn't as bad dealing with that aspect as I thought. But the character of Rolo vi Britannia was just really intriguing to say the least, and I've been most enamored with him, seeing as how Lelouch is currently being mysterious on his intentions to be much of a villain. The locket Rolo carries around with him, his apparent rendition of his time Geass when we caught Alice off-guard, and the general bad-assness of his Vincent now was just really awesome to behold, not to mention his position as head of the Geass Cult in Eden Vital. It doesn't hurt that Anya is basically his subordinate/knight either, and I did have a laugh seeing her pilot the Tristan while kicking Suzaku's Lancelot into the dirt. Couple of questions though, first what does Pink mean when she said that thing about him not being Lelouch's twin, and second is Charles and Rolo working together apparently, seeing as how their subordinates carry the symbol of the Cult. Third is basically the same, except it asks whether or not the Irregular group of Geass/C.C DNA infused assault force is also under the command of Rolo as well. Would appreciate any clarifications on this issue if any, thanks.

The NoN manga had made it clear on Rolo's origins (e.g. Being Marianne's child taken by Eden Vital men. Some of them were holding her back).

The Irregulars have artificial geass due to C.C.'s cells being injected to them.

NoN had revealed Rolo's true origin in one of the future chapters waiting to be released in vol. 5 in future (My estimation is one more chapter to go). His true origin is not what we were told in vol. 4. As I mentioned a few posts before, he is NOT Lelouch's twin. I was one of the victims who are disappointed by this fact too. He is another tragic character.

Rolo was the first successful artificial wire (man-made demon king) who has a complete form by injecting C.C.'s cell directly into fertilised egg from Charles and Marianne. He just happened to obtain similar genes like Lelouch to resemble him. Charles gave him his name and his memories to have Rolo become his sword and pledged loyalty to him.

Because of that his cell degenerate faster than the irregulars did.

I don't really like that new information. I would have preferred him to be lelouch's true twin.

Anyway, now that I have more free time, I started to read "seriously" NoN and so far it's not that bad. Even quite good tbh

I am still disappointed how they used rolo's character in the CG world. I am even more disappointed since you gave me those infos from Mutuality about who he was supposed to be in the main series.

Looks like I always bring you "disappointment" . As mentioned, I'm also disappointed by this fact. How wonderful if Rolo's a real brother of Lelouch whether he is a half brother or a twin brother. Unfortunately, none happened.

To think how excited I was when I learnt about Rolo vi Britannia as a twin of Lelouch that I started reading NoN.

It would have been better, and Rolo would have gotten an interetsing past to explore in the main series.

In NoN, well, it's a disappointment, but at least a bit better than in the main series.

I don't think they've gotten that far yet. Last I checked they were only as far as the first Shirley incident.

I'm only going by what's been released on OneManga (fansub). I thought they were usually pretty up to date, but maybe they don't have the most recent chapters.

Has anything happened in the CG LOTR R2 manga as of late if anyone knows?

I only heard a few things about it.

NoN vol. 5, the final volume will release on 25th April. Last chapter (Last Code, Code 26) was just released.

I just finished browsing the chapter and I thought Lelouch and Nunnally's part is rather interesting.

Spoiler for NoN's version of LotR events:

In NoN's world, LotR is just one of the infinite possible world based on Nunnally's conversation with Lelouch. Snippets of LotR major events were featured a bit in NoN such as Euphie's, massacre, Suzaku's rage during the Mexican standoff and Lelouch's death. Nunnally made her choice for this world she is in (NoN world) and she is confident for a gentle world. Lelouch had a different opinion. It seems that he is pessimistic about this world. But Nunnally is firm with her choice to reject her parents' plan although Lelouch seems to be able to accept it in this world. In the end, he respected her choice and disappears from this world.

Spoiler for Farewell:

Lelouch is looking hot with both white and black wings

Before Lelouch disappears (A pair of black and white wings spouted on his back ) hugs Nunnally. He wanted her to remember that no matter where they are and who they are, her brother Lelouch will always love his sister, Nunnally (No matter which world they are in, Lelouch will always love Nunnally).

Spoiler for Some other points:

- Japan is released from Britannia's rule.
- Euphemia Li Britannia is the 99th Empress of Britannia. She survives in this world.
- Suzaku didn't return to Japan but chose to remain by Euphie's side as her knight.
- Zero "died" in Kaminejima and Ohgi is the leader of the BK.

Vol. 5 will cover Rolo VS Alice, Nunnally's confrontation with her parents, the truth behind's Marianne's death, Nunnally's choice for the world, and the final chapter.

Awww, looks like everything worked out for the better on the whole. Though Lelouch ended up not existing still, he got to give Nunnally one last goodbye. Euphemia not only lived, but also became the new Empress (YAY!!!!!!), and Suzaku remained as her knight. Ohgi as Black Knights leader could go either way. (I hope they didn't make him an idiot like in R2.)

Did Lelouch simply reject Nunnally's own idea of a peaceful world, and is that why he disappeared?

Wow, that sounds like an awesome Alternate Universe. Euphie gets to live and Suzaku is her knight. And Lelouch's little speech sounds very touching ^_^

He did give her his last goodbye before leaving her. (Just posted an image to my previous post. nice art I feel) Not that he rejected her idea, but rather he couldn't stay with her as he is a demon king who is supposed to spread chaos.
By now, Nunnally not only can see, she can also walk . She is working as a ambassador for Britannia and Japan after regaining her royal status. Alice is made her knight. She gave her a crest similar to what Euphie gave Suzaku in the 'anime world'.

Spoiler for Lelouch and Nunnally's opinion on the meaning of Demon King:

Lelouch who took over C.C. becoming demon king was suppose to spread the curse of Geass across the world creating chaos (He better not do that ). He is not fit to stay in this world. That is what he see as the meaning behind the power of the demon king . while Nunnally see it as possibilities of different scenarios (parallel world).
