Unhappy Torrent-Clients — PC freezes

Hi Folks,

I have problems with all Torrent-Clients (and also the eDonkey-Clients).

Everytime I start one of these programs (for example ABC or Azureus) and start to download files, after some time, my pc freezes.
I have alread checked my pc for viruses, but I haven't found one. I don't know what to do.

But this problem wasn't all the time. It has been since I bougt an additional harddrive (a Samsung SpinPoint P80 with 160 GB).
It doesn't matter if I save the files on the old or the new harddrive.

I really hope you can help me.

Fullover

Zonealarm is causing the problems.

If you want help u must be more specific, ie: which software you've installed on your pc, which windows version you use---

As some1 said, the problem should be caused by a firewall... do u 4 any chance have installed norton internet secuirty, mcafee inet security or zone alarm suite? those are firewall and antivirus together. If this is the case, the best solution, if u know nothing about firewalls, is uninstall the product and then install an antivirus only app.
