It's really nice, but I suspect it's not part of the anime, but part of the a.f.k. compilation.

Anyone have any guesses? I will upload a link to the clip later.

EDIT: Here's a link to the clip: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/4422/music/haruhi.mp3
Actually this question has been asked a few times, even on this thread.

So I did a search on 'piano' and the following result has a direct reply with the answer you need: http://forums.animesuki.com/showthre...ano#post639256

Hello,

Please help me identify this background music in piano at the end of Episode 9 (chronologically the actual last episode in the series)

from 21:36 to 22:20.

It's when Kyon and Haruhi are walking home and it's raining.

I think (comparing soundtrack to BGM) the title is "Haruhi no omoi", on the last soundtrack/radio show album. (Says "soundtrack 7" but "radio bangumi 8", thanks to the first soundtrack being for the Adventures of Asahina Mikuru movie.)

You're right, it is. I searched for the music and I found a sheet music version of it. I don't have the soundtrack though, so I don't have the actual mp3.

Hey, I don't have any OSTs, and I was wondering, what is that trumpet piece called at the beginning of TMoHS I when Kyon is giving his monologue on how life sucks.

^ You mean the one in greyscale before Haruhi's introduction that began with the Santa talk?
If so, that'd be Itsumo no fuukei.

The OST's if i recall correctly were released as bonus material to the Limited Edition JP DVD's so they're abit hard to track down actually... =/

New Haruhi Concert

There will be a new Haruhi Concert on April 29, 2009, "Suzumiya Haruhi no Gensou".

It seems to be a classical concert with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra directed by Philip Chu, and with Seiji Honda (piano) and Hiroaki Yura (violin).

Aya Hirano and Chihara Minori are listed as guests.

A classical concert. With Haruhi music.

I think I'm going to die of happiness.

Anyone know if they'll ever release Nagato-chan's version of "Paradise Lost"? It's very... addicting

I've got a question. I'm collecting most of the Haruhi OSTs, but I'm struggling heavily. I found a compilation with a few that I don't have. I'm not asking for download links, just the names of them in order.

I just got the CDs, Haruhi-chan single, Nyoron character song and Haruhi wii game songs.

Those who got their Nyoron CDs, open up and look at the CD.

Notice what is on the bottom right of the CD, then what's in the middle of the CD holder. Then remove the CD and see what's below on the bottom of the CD cover. You should say Nyoron~ after that.

The Haruhi songs are just genius, besides all the homages, puns, censorship and stuff. Haruhi sings excitedly, Mikuru joins in, Yuki reads the lyrics as it goes along, Kyon tries to disturb the song, Itsuki tries to flirt etc. etc.

And everything is in a tight bundle of controlled chaos, it takes a songwriter with a mind as powerful as Haruhi to come up with. Amazing stuff.

Nyore~ron~

Dame.

Hokkori, the word has many meanings. That's why Churuya-san says it in so many situations, Hokkori-chan, the dust particle is also hokkori.

Just the Haruhi-chan CD, showing the hiragana 'no' of 'Suzumiya Haruhi-chan no Yuuutsu'

On a totally random note, the OP of Suzumiya Haruhi chan is just hilarious. I just can't stop listening to it XD
