The problem I see with dedicating it towards the social group is that, while it is fine for those who are a member of the group, it wouldn't stop new or latecoming members from making these comments, as they may not even be aware of the group's existence, much less be a member of it.

A sub forum would of course be ideal, as we could then have a thread dedicated to discussing this, but if that's not possible then I would at least suggest a rule concerning this be added to the top post.

If there's no subforum, is it possible to get a thread in Gen Discussion (or somewhere else?) that would make discussion like this possible?

Keroko's right in that we'd be taking discussion way out of the 'spotlight', but I don't know how, other than a subforum, we can actually solve that particular issue.

Can someone translate this?

It's basically just showing scenes from the first episode plus a few extra's. Plenty of good stuff for game players.

No Edy though.

And Ellet for that matter. She looks great in the anime, and I hope to expect her quirky personality.

EDIT:
Spoiler for Aspect of Alicia:

Ellet looked the closest to her game self. I still think everyone else is a little "off."

But it's nice to see some motion finally and see how it can all come together.

Largo and Rosie look almost exactly like their in-game selves from the character design sheets.

Some of them look a little different, but all of the anime designs look good so far, save for Selvaria looking a little weird. (but she might look better in motion)

Alicia and Isara look better in anime form.

Yeah. It's a design that won't take long getting used to once she makes a few appearances on screen.

It's funny how they shown Susie in the PV, though thinking about it she'll make for excellent drama in this adaptation.

After seeing that I just can't help but be excited for this anime. From what I can tell it seems very true to the game material and not to mention whatever music was playing during that preview video was catchy. Is that the opening music for the show?

I don't know how good the game is, but when I saw it in Wal-mart the other day, I liked the cover artwork (which is usually what gets me hooked to a game half the time), and then I remembered that I'd heard this name somewhere else... so while I don't have a PS3 to play the game nor funds for the game + system anyways, I hope this anime turns out to be good

though with what you guys were saying about Alicia, it half sounds like there's going to be tragedy in this, something that is NOT my cup of tea

I hope that they keep the drama surrounding her character to a minimum.

[removed game-based spoiler and speculation]

Spoiler for the outline:
Homolust confirmed.

Let's just hope that they don't target the fangirls too much and start picking off attractive members of the female cast.

Spoiler for the outline:
That explains Faldio character design for the anime.

Also good to hear that Sega will supervise the anime original material.

They are going to pour large-scale tank battle scene in the Battle of Naggiar and there is also a highlight battle scene in the early episode. However if pouring their energy to battle scenes like the game too much, the story development becomes to be boring. So they pour daily life scenes more than battle scenes.
I'm pleased to hear that. If I remember right, before the game was released they were describing the story as a 'human drama during wartime'.

Will wait and see if the seiyu change is okay in the game. I wasn't bothered by the change for Rosie, but for Largo I was a bit.
